I will live in the present moment expressing compassion in all that I do.

Life is an experience that is given us so that we can evolve. This evolution encompasses many things: our skills, our intellect, our knowledge, our intuitive powers and our spiritual connection to the Divine Intelligence that creates and comprises all. When we appreciate the gift of Life fully we live in the present moment in all that we do, to all that we encounter.

The experience of earthly life is a sacred privilege. I recognize this and perform all my daily labors with joy.

Life is made up of moments and along with moments of joy the menial and tedious tasks are what life consists of. It was once said that "God is in the details." The greatest creations of man are those where the details are most fervently sweated. When we perform detailed tedious tasks with full awareness and put our deepest love into that performance our greatest creations are the result.

I will see life as a child with perfect faith and full acceptance.

Children have a much clearer vision than adults when it comes to things that are unseen. When we come into this world we come with perfect faith and acceptance of life. In this state of mind anything is possible. In this state of mind our own possibilities are unlimited. As adults it is our challenge to return to this state of mind so that our greatest creativity can bud and blossom.

I recognize that the world around me is in a constant state of change. I recognize that I am also in a constant state of change.

It is easy to recognize that we are changing physically. What we often don't recognize is that we are changing spiritually as well, becoming someone more than we were before. We change in our awareness continually. Likewise, we change our perception of what our life experience is and what our role is in this experience. Our awareness is continually expanding.

I will live my life with unconditional love as my purpose. I will quiet my ego and express my inner joy.

When we are centered in our true self, our joyful self, it is easy to recognize the same in others. A mutual recognition occurs when we let go of our ego bound false self and open our hearts to others. In this exchange we are one being of true joyful self recognizing another being of true joyful self. This is really who we are. When we step away from our egos and fears we recognize this truth and it becomes a knowing within us.

I will live each day spiritually awake and I will learn eternal lessons in my life experience.

Most often we are asleep to the divine influences around us. Most of us do not see that every little experience we have is a part of our evolution. We live, we experience, we learn and we evolve. This is our life experience. Even when it appears that we have taken a step backward we are really moving forward in the spiritual evolutionary process.

I will experience life and live it to the fullest with thankfulness and joy.

To connect to the life experience fully it is often necessary to return to the most fundamental elements of life. In doing so we must simplify our lives. In living simply we connect most directly to nature and to the infinite wonders of creation.

I will be the best that I am capable of being.

We must always strive to be the best and to do the best that we are capable of. We must always be stretching our intellect and our skills, learning to tap into the genius creativity that is at our core. When we do this, when we strive to be and do our best, we must also let the outcome be as it will be without expecting the universe to succumb to our desires and wishes.

I will accept my failures as well as my successes and see them both as part of the same process.

The process of becoming is a process of incremental discoveries. When we see our failures as being an important part of the process of becoming we do not judge ourselves but rather continue to move ahead in the effort of becoming.

By being aware of my true essence, my joyful self, I will attract loving beings into my life experience.

As you connect to your true being, your joyful self, and as you courageously express this love essence unconditionally, others of similar awareness will be brought into your life experience. They will reinforce your efforts and as you express to them, and likewise receive unconditional love from them, you will be renewed, revitalized, restrengthened to resume your vision-quest journey.

I recognize that all things are impermanent.

Life and everything in it is in a constant state of changing. This occurs all around us and on the most microscopic of levels. Most of us are oblivious to this ever constant metamorphosis that is taking place around us. We must have faith that all change is as it needs to be and is occurring for the benefit of our eternal essence.

I am connected to all Life and to the Divine Intelligence of the Universe.

It is when we see the connectedness of ourselves to all Life that we begin to see the Spirit of Divine Intelligence present in our lives. This life force is eternal and infinite, inhabiting all physical forms and continually evolving as it experiences that which we call the life experience. Just so, we are also one with the Spirit of Divine Intelligence ever evolving.
